If You’re Feeling Anxious, This Is Where You Start

Anxiety has a way of making everything feel urgent.

Your thoughts race ahead.
Your heart feels unsettled.
And even when nothing is technically “wrong,” it still feels like something is.

You tell yourself to calm down… but it’s not that simple.

Because anxiety isn’t just in your mind.
It settles into your body, your breathing, your thoughts.

But here’s something to remember:
Your feelings may be real, but they are not always telling you the truth.

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7

Notice it doesn’t say “manage it perfectly.”
It says cast it.

Release it.
Hand it over.

Even if you have to do it again… and again… and again.

Trust isn’t a one-time decision.
It’s a daily surrender.

Today, when your thoughts start to spiral, gently shift:
“I don’t have to carry this alone.”

You are held.
Even here. Even now.
